ZINCALUME®, ABADI®, Galvalume® and Alumunium Embossed materials come with various width and thickness to fulfill various architectural demands and needs. The main material specifications that are commonly used for roofing purposes are stated below.

What are ZINCALUME®, ABADI®, Galvalume® and Alumunium Embossed?

ZINCALUME® is a metallic coated sheet steel produced by Bluescope Indonesia that has four times the corrosion resistance of galvanized steel. It consists of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight and the coating is about 80% aluminum by volume. ZINCALUME®, also known as Galvalume®, has a uniform spangled surface and can be bent, roll-formed or drawn to many shapes for construction projects. ZINCALUME® is perfect for architectural applications such as roofing panels, wall panels and metal tiles, as well as metal building applications. ZINCALUME® has a specification of G550 (hardness) and AZ-150 (1 m2 surface area has about 150g of alumunium coating). Bluescope Indonesia also has ABADI® material with AZ-100 which has lower alumunium coating. To ensure and differentiate authentic ZINCALUME® and ABADI® material from others in the market, its metal sheets has fine printing on its side. For example, ZINCALUME® sheets has printing that looks like this:

ALUMUNIUM EMBOSSED is another material option for your roofing needs which also boasts many similar benefits to ZINCALUME®. While Alumunium is less firmer than ZINCALUME®, it has better corrosion resistance and gives cooler temperature to the space below for it also acts as insulation from the heat. Unlike ZINCALUME® that has a smooth surface, Alumunium Embossed material has a rugged surface that looks like this:
